Purpleblue Treats was founded in 2016 as a property development company based in Gaborone. In 2021 the business relocated to Francistown and diversified into equipment plant hire due to growing demand for smart technology equipment in construction and landscaping projects, particularly in villages. The company continues to offer smart, low cost and quality equipment hire solutions for civil and building construction projects country-wide.

With years of experience in the industry, Purpleblue Treats has had the privilege of being involved in multiple major projects in Botswana among many highlights, including the 100 Million Pula - Ramaeba Primary School Project in Kazungula, Water Utilities Corporation - Kasane repair and maintenance works, Thebe River Safaris project in Kasane plus several other projects with valued clients.
